Landscape design and construction · Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast and Geelong, Victoria
Landscaping is bought by eye. So the site leads with finished gardens, not with sales copy.
Coastal Elements, coastalelements.com.au
Where they were
Coastal Elements designs and builds gardens across the Bellarine Peninsula, the Surf Coast and Geelong: outdoor kitchens, pool surrounds, fire pits, architectural concrete seating and vegetable gardens. It is a trade where the competition is often one person with a ute, where the buyer is handing over their garden for weeks, and where the decision usually starts with someone seeing a finished job and wanting that one. After 10 years building on this coast, the work itself was the strongest thing they had. It needed a website that sold the same way a good site visit does.
What they needed
- The finished gardens have to carry the sale. This is a trade chosen by looking, so the site cannot lead with services described in the abstract.
- A buyer on the coast has to be able to see that Coastal Elements has already built nearby. Salt, wind and soil behave differently here, and local work is what makes a landscaper the safer choice.
- Contact has to be within reach at the moment someone decides. Landscaping enquiries are impulsive, and an extra click loses them.
- All three ways a homeowner might make contact have to be present: a form, a phone number and an email, because different buyers reach for different ones.
- The full range of outdoor work has to read as one team rather than a list of separate trades.
- The site has to stay live and looked after without anyone on the crew thinking about it.
What it did for the business
Their finished work does the first pitch.
The site is organised around completed gardens rather than a list of services, 18 projects at the last count. A homeowner who has just seen a neighbour's new pool surround can look through real jobs and decide they want that one. By the time they make contact, the conversation starts with a project in mind instead of a blank page, which is how this trade is actually chosen.
Finished gardens, not a list of services.
A coastal buyer can see they have already built on this coast.
Projects are named by where they were built, Point Lonsdale among them. On the Bellarine and the Surf Coast, salt, wind and soil all behave differently, and a homeowner is looking for someone who has already dealt with that nearby. The site makes local knowledge obvious before anyone has to claim it on a phone call.

Nobody has to hunt for the phone number.
Contact details stay on screen as a visitor scrolls, and the form, the phone and the email are each one tap away from wherever they have got to. Someone scrolling on a Sunday afternoon after seeing a neighbour's new garden does not have to go looking, scroll back, or open a second page. At the moment landscaping is decided, there is nothing in the way.
Contact stays on screen wherever a visitor stops scrolling.
One fire pit becomes a conversation about the whole yard.
Outdoor kitchens, pool surrounds, fire pits, concrete seating and vegetable gardens all sit together as one body of work. A homeowner who arrived for one small job can see the same team built the rest of it. They do not have to be told it is one team for the whole yard; they can see it for themselves.
One job opens a conversation about the whole yard.
Keeping the site running is not their job.
Hosting and upkeep sit with Dreamy, continuously through 2026. A landscaper is on site, not at a desk, and a site that quietly goes down on a weekend costs enquiries nobody ever finds out about. None of that lands on the crew, and none of it interrupts a build.
